I was told linkia is VERY HARD to keep and can you share some of your experience with us.

I really wish to know how to keep them so that I can keep them myself too.

the blue linkias are the hardest to keep, the multi flora are the easiest, and the red and orange are in between. for all of them you must have mature live rock for the linkias to graze on. even with enough rock it's a crap shoot. they graze on a microfilm of algae on the rocks, from what I've read. If you don't have the algae they like then the linkia dies. :starfish:

they should be fine in a mature reef tank with 75 pounds of rock or more.
That's what Sprung or Calfo wrote. I had a multiflora for maybe six months and it's active and growing very slowly.

Mike has some nice stock. I havent been to his place yet but plan on next time im up that way He seems to go the extra mile to make sure you get a healthy and eating fish!

Not a great one, but it won't stay still long enough to get a decent shot. Here it is with the orange shoulder. BTW, I have 2 of them.
