WTB trocus snails

hate to pay over $2 per snail from LA, wonder if any vendors here can get trocus snails

Seems like no one has them lately. I'm in the same boat as you, I just can't pay $2 for a darn snail!

Can you tell the difference between Trochus and Astrea by looking at them. The problem with Astrea is if they tip over they can't get back up but you can get them on line pretty cheap so that even with shipping is about $2 per snail.

I think it's fairly easy to tell the difference between Astrea's and Trochus snails.

I just did a huge order through ReefCleaners. They don't have Trochus snails, but I've had really good luck with their Nerites, and you can't beat his prices on snails. Just a thought.

Nerites is good aslo and beneficial for reef but they take care different stuff in the tank.
