macro algae FS locally at LFS?

Hello,

Is there any place in Manhattan LFS that carries a decent selection of macro algae (besides chaeto, halimeda and red garcilia which I already have)?

Was looking for the other kinds like feather or grape, dragons tongue, etc.

Not sure of Manhattan but Reefcleaners.org Vendor here from Florida has a nice selection.

I checked them out their selection is not great and shipping wouldn't be worth it.

Anyway, I went to Pacific on Delancey, they got caulepera mexicana, racemosa cylindracea, and prolifera mixed in for $20/handful compared to what I see online it's a good amount for those that sell 1 strand but this was mostly prolifera with a few strands of those mixed in.

It seems like they're building up their planted tanks if you're into that too.

Not much corals if any, seems like fish that usually common in most stores and even then doesn't seem like they re-stock it as much. I notice just 2 tanks of really purple coralline covered live rocks but that was it that stuck out.

I was lthere to buy macros for my 'fuge so usually I don't pay any mind to other things.

Pacific is great! Just picked up three seahorses there on friday.
But Reefcleaners is by far the best option. You are right though, right now their inventory is low. I think they have 8 kinds now, last month they had 22. Check back, John is great, good deals on snails too!
