Looking for a dozen Atlantic Blue Tangs

Hi everyone,
I am aware that this is the season for a lot of Atlantic fish showing up. If anyone is out collecting or wholesalers getting them please pm me. Lirra members please keep me in mind and would love to buy a dozen Atlantic Blues. Qt is up and ready.........:smile:

You can break all the rules if your tank is big enough. How big is this tank btw?

Well here is why I want a dozen. I will Qt them and hopefully will end up with 8-9 that make it. Then I will add 6 or 7 to one tank and the last one in my other. If I have more that survive and hopefully I do I have many good homes for them.
Many years ago I had a group of 5 in a tank and they lived many years and grew from juvis(yellow bodied) to adults(blue) with no ill effects. A couple of things to consider. First off having a big enough tank to house them..400 ++ which I have 2 and are larger than that. The second is to add them all as juvis at once. Try not to have any exsisting Acanthurus in the tank you are adding them too....:smile:..keep everyone well fed. And I have found that they are way less aggressive than my Clown, Sohol, and Disumari which by the way are housed in one tank and have been for years. If in fact for some reason I do have a problem with aggression I have plenty of good homes, No need to worry my freind.

Hey buddy.....I have always loved Achilles and have tried to have them cohabitate with other(acanthurus) but was a no-go...:tired:. I like the blues a lot and think they are one of the most underated Tangs out there.

blue tangs are a very rare find up here. I think atlantis only got one in the last few years.

I got a blue tang at the sore thumb 3 or 4 years ago. I have also seen a few diving this year over by Tanner Park near the pilings toward Copiague Hole.

Rt 4 aquarium in nj had them and they told me that when I want more to let them know I never seen then so small 2"

They can also get you 12 fully grown so you don't have to wait .... Lol
