triggerman i know ur looking for a ban saw but u can always go a little renegade style drimmel or a grinder with a dymond bit/blade

Did you ever think to check lowes or home depot rental tools? you will prob. have to clean and buy your own blade but they rent stuff for a song.

Dubs I have a dremel..it works but it's a little brutal and tough to cut through thick rock since the blade is so small.

Troy- I would not use a tool like that from home depot for 2 reasons 1) they don't have band saws like that they only have tile saws and 2 they are so filthy from people using them to cut dirty things I would not want to risk the coral's health. A tool like that should be only used for cutting corals

Thanks Andy I'm looking for a gryphon if I'm going to buy new. I found a site I'm probably going to end up buying it from and it's only a little more money than the inland and from what I heard much better. I was just hoping to get it locally so I wouldn't have to order it. That piece I got from you guys the other day is actually what I want to cut. There is a decent sized dead spot at the bottom I did not notice till I got home.
