almost any serious LFS should have frag plugs/discs. Most of the vendors on this board have them too. As for glue you can just go down to you local hardware, drug store, supermarket, etc and pick up some super glue gel.

no use super glue gel only reefsafe and very easy to use and most will recomend you DONT take the coral out of the water to glue

I take a container and add tank water cut what I want then glue let harden then add to my tank

I take corals out of the water all the time to glue them. As long as it's only a few seconds you should be fine. I'll get them in the mail to you tomorrow or friday. You should use Cyanoacrylate glue (Crazy Glue Gel) to mount the corals.

Zoa frags can be out of the water for A LONG TIME. I'm talking about over an hour. Do NOT do this with LPS though. Zoa's are extremely hardy.

This is not hearsay. It is from loads of experience. ;)

will the glue have any adverse effects if I leave the plug in there permanently. Do i just stick the glue on the rock put the frag on and drop it back in?

The reason this in no good and regular Krazy Glue isn't good is this:

Imagine taking a flat frag disk and pouring water on it. The water will run EXTREMELY thin and afford you no area to 'wet' your finger if you were to touch it.

Now imagine taking that same frag disk and squeezing a dollop of toothpaste on it. If you were to put your finger into the toothpaste you finger would definitely get messy.

Picture the water to be the same as the regular Krazy Glue.
Picture the toothpaste to be the same as the Krazy Glue GEL.

Hope that was somewhat clear (it was when it was in my head  )

he was saying if you were to glue something would you use a water like glue or a "toothpaste" like glue

"Toothpaste"= Super Glue GEL = GOOD
"water" = normal superglue = BAD

some craft stores have huge tubes of gel that i use just make sure of the contents ,it has to be cynanoacrylate GEL .you can get 20 gms for $2.99 just be aware that it hardens fast in water so try to not get water on the end of the tube or it will clog !the craft store i go to is MICHEALS ant the glue is called " jewelry&metal glue " its made by ALEENES and its 100%cyno acrylate . i've used it for years ,it works great !good luck *************

i have another question. Since all my rock is already in place, if i put some glue on the bottom of the frag and then put it into the tank and onto the rock in the tank, will the glue dry before i get the frag to the rock? do i need to remove the rock and then glue the frag to it?

The working time on cyanoacrylate gel is very short, but you should be able to apply the gel to the frag and attach it to the rock. This must be done very quickly as the water is an accelerator for the glue to set.
