Yeah, I would love to hear more about people's experience with Glass Cages actually. Like I said, if I have it built, I'm going with 36x24x24, so not a HUGE tank, but certainly can't afford to have something break on me.
I guess I would like to know whether people here think that there's a real chance that a Glass Cages tank would be made so badly that it would actually break on them. I could deal with paying less and getting some no-so-neat silicone work, but having 90 gallons on the floor (an apt building) is just not acceptable.
So, would paying twice as much for an Aquarium Obsessed, A Miracles, or even an ELOS really be necessary for piece of mind? I'd like to think that anyone who makes a tank is making one that at least wont break (and that the price differences come down to things like quality of silicone work/customer service/even quality of glass).
Would love to hear some opinions... (beyond "you get what you pay for")
Thanks!
