Chit chat is fine as long as it's going somewhere. My tank is nutrient rich and i cleaned out my refuge and dumped all the hair algae about a 18''x12'' bed of this stuff in the garbage and my corals are not happy about that .
It's right here.THEDLO

i have a bunch of hair algae that i want to buy something for to eat it.. i dont care what you do with it but one question how do you remove it without manually plucking it, which i can do.
another question: why would corals be upset if hair algae is gone?

They benefit from the dissolved organics associated with plants and dead marine algae etc. You can use scissors or plucking it doesn't matter.I hope you are for real because all i've received so far is a whole bunch of questions. Still looking.

son of a biatch I thought i would never see hair algae again but now its slowly growing on my rocks.

like i told you before, I have some growing on my pvc pipe. I always put a snail on there to clean it off but it always grows back since the snails cant reach inside the pvc. its nice to have it there though.

seeing that nobody seems to have some, I'll offer my measly scrap

I have rocks covered with it. It looks like turf right now because the fish keep it trim. I can give you an old coco worms home with it all over it. This stuff is super invasive so as long as you don't care about that (within days you'll see it all over your rocks starting to grow and on the walls of your tank) you can have some. LMK
