Griffey certainly belongs in the hall with 608 homers, a close to .300 batting average for his career and 1,800 rbi's.

If he didin't get injured so often, he would pass Bonds for most homeruns of all time and everybody would love it because he never used steroids (at least he nevere looked like he used steroids.)

Forida has a bad bullpen, they will not win the East. The Marlins will just rent Manny for the remaining year and then move him out.

I like the addition of Pudge for the Yanks and I love that they got rid of Farnsworth.

Neither the Red Sox nor the Marlins will be paying Manny next year. He's going to command a lot of money, probably as much as the entire Marlins team. If they do get him, I think he can help them this year.

how many times are the sox going to go through with this>? has it happened? if it hasnt then it wont. if it did i would be extremly suprised that it happened. i have read that the deal is all but dead. welcome pudge. i cant wait to see him tonight in the stripes. griffey will be something i think.

Rumors have the Dodgers being interested. But I agree, with only 23 minutes left until the end of the trade deadline I don't think he's going anywhere.

I'm shocked he got dealt. Joe Torre and Manny Ramirez are together...........should be quite intersting.

Tells Manny that his god awful attitude means more than his offense if the team that at one time coveted you deals you away AND pays your salary for the other team.

If there's anyone in the bigs that can handle Ramirez it's Joe.
