As Dean said, all the tentacles can capture food, but in my experience Duncanopsammia is a pretty benign coral that doesn't actively attack neighbors, and doesn't do great damage when it does come in contact. In a lot of ways it is the perfect coral---beautiful, hardy, fast growing, non-aggressive and not particular to lighting, flow or water quality.

Mine looks like this at times, particularly if it is getting buffeted by a change in current or after feeding. Lighting seems not to affect mine much. Why do you ask? Randy
