This is my baby colony of Duncanopsammia.

When I got them in April of 2006 they were just three heads.
Now the colony is up to ten heads and growing. The duncans had a rough
start in my tank, I did not know they liked to eat meat, so they had to catch their own food. Fortunately for the duncans I fed my fish up to four times a day, so they had some food available. I'm now feeding them mysis with chop sticks so I'll notice if they begin to grow much faster.
In the new tank design I've given them plenty of room to grow, and they will need it. They form fairly large colonies in the wild.
Fragging the duncan is not the easiest thing, a dremmel is needed to get through the thick skeleton. I'll update the photos as the Duncan grows.

Dean in that RC thread someone said they waited 10 years to get a duncan!

I don't know what Phil is complaining about :D he'll get one way before then.

BD that duncan is beautiful bro. Q for you. Are all those tentacles just feeders? It seems there are some that are a bit longer. Are those nematocysts?

Your scopas and clown are SOB's when feeding  . Just like my cleaner shrimp. My cleaner will yank food out of my corals guts to get it
