Diet for Clown Tang?

Guys/Gals I need to know what more varied type of foods I can feed to my clown tang (Acanthurus lineatus) ?
So far it has been doing alot of grazing of algae and taking in my plankton/mysis seafood mix.
It has refused romain lettuce, nori, formula 1 & 2.

romain lettuce is garbage. feed them dried seaweed, squid, mysis, krill, flakes and formula 1+2.

if @ first he ignores it, keep trying.

Is it true that juv. tangs eat more protein than algae at this stage in their life?

Mine eats mysis rite out of my hand....

mysis is a really good food for tangs due to the high level of HUFA that help to prevent lateral line erosion. Seaweed strips or nori should be put on a clip in the tank or banded to a small rock and left for them to graze on.

I have a question for you. Is your clown territorial?

Clowns and Sohals are in the same group both get very territorial at larger sizes about 8"-9" give or take. Should Ideally be kept in a 300g minimum to help reduce some of their aggression toward tankmates. In a smaller tank I'd imagine they would display aggression sooner than normal.
