I hate ic gel glue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way they make it just stinks!!! All over my hands and i never get the use of the hole tube. I think who ever comes out with a bulk of this will be rich... I was talking to sanjay and he found some industrial stuff for cheap but not the same. He email ic gel and they said there product is 120,000 cps.(thinkness). I bought some other stuff but not the same and only 1500 cps. I cant find this stuff anywhere....
I just hate spending $7 bucks and i use it up so quick

anyone try ecotech glue before i spend $49 bucks???

I tring to find something else myself. I spend $9 on a tube of IC gel at M.A when i ran out.

I wonder if anyone here tried Ecotech's new $500, mean $50 glue? From what I read, it's at least just as thick as the IC Gel but there's 10 oz.'s per bottle.

The problem with a large container is that even in a pliable tube air will eventually get in and cure what is left before you have a chance to use it.

Jarrett stop squeezing the tube like it owes you money and it won't pop. It also helps to squeeze it from the bottom to the top as you use it.

To be honest, if you apply pretty much any pure cyanoacrylate properly it will hold, just don't rush.

I haven't had any problems with IC Gel, and I go through a ton of it. The Ecotech glue looks to have a different consistency, but I just can't see spending $50 on a container of glue and have it cure in the bottle or something like that.

Regarding the price, this is why I suggest buying it at the swap for $5 a tube as it is at cost.

Like the others said, ya gotta caress the glue out of its tube. I use very small amounts for fragging and one tube has lastest me for quite a long time.

When i have alot to frag and i am in a little rush and I dont want coral out of water to long this stuff just breaks if you dont do it squeeze it perfect. I went thru a ton of this stuff the past couple months due to an issue I had and almost every tube i did not get all 7oz becasue it breaks and makes a big mess or even dry's on me.Nothing worse then glue dried up on the black trim of your tank...LOL
some times when the tube cracks I just throw out becasue it is everywere on my hands.


Am i the only person with this problem???LOL

happen to me once not knowing it was coming out from the side after rolling it up like a toothpaste tube to get evry drop...thought my hand was wet and rubbed it and #$%@! Lucky I had nail polish remover.

Try wrapping the tube in a little duct tape before you use it. That should help contain any leaks, just make sure it's tight.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face Jarrett!:funnypost IC is the only glue I use, and I only get it from Josh!
I did initially had the same problem with it getting on my fingers, heck I even got it on my lip once.LOL The lip one was done while holding the cap between my teeth while gluing a coral, and trying to recap the tube.
Like others mentioned: squeeze from the bottom gently, fold the tube from the bottom up as you go along. You will get to use every once of it, and it won't get all over your hands.:dog:
