Anyone know anything about Odyssea lights? Are they good or are they junk? I am looking for a new (or used) fixture for my planted tank. The prices are appealing but...I don't wanna get burned. Just asking. Thanks.

Also, why eBay? www.aquatraders.com is there site.
Save your money and buy a MUCH BETTER fixture. Cheap in this hobby now means more costly in the long run.

I own a light fixture from Odyssea so far no problems for me. Just have to keep on changing the light bulbs every 6 months.
I'm so confused. If you have to change the bulbs every 6 months, how can this be no problem? Something isn't right with a fixture if you must change bulbs every 6 months. Either that or you're running your bulbs for 14-16 hours per day. :shocked1:
Russ
5 hours a day? Like you turn them on From 1 til 5 only? And every 6 months? Because the bulbs are blown or because you want to? Something smells fishyyyyyy
