Who: Manhattan Reefers
The date: Saturday Night, Oct. 22nd at 7:30 P.M.
The place: http://www.play-ny.com/
The purpose: To be reef-geeks in a cool place and trade frags while drinking and chatting about whatever we want (which will most likely be tanks, plumbing, chemistry, coral and fish)
What to bring: Positive attitude, some money for drinks/food if you want (MR will be providing some snacks for us), frags that you have prearranged to trade with someone), perhaps a small cooler, remember, we are going to be in a club on a Sat. night so take walking past scantily clad girls while holding a cooler and baggies or piss cups of water and frags into consideration... on the other hand, this could be a good conversation piece.....
The whole concept of this idea is to just get together and hang out over drinks, so if you do not want to trade or dbtc then you are still more than welcome to come and mingle, you might even walk away with a frag or 2. The additional bonus is to get your coral out there into others tanks without money being involved. The bonuses of this are plenty but mainly it is a good feeling to give. If you ever have a disaster and need a hand, someone might have the same frag you lost . Pay it forward.
Please no sales nor vendors at this event unless they are coming strictly as hobbyists with no promotion of their business. If you want to sell stuff you can use the for sale forum or the MR December Frag Swap at Pratt.
Free Raffle for two pieces Sanjay gave to me, plus I heard Prattreef was going to donate some crazy sps.
1. Zoas that look like Bambam Oranges on crack, I will call them Sanjay's crackhead oranges.

We had an event like this last year and it was a blast , the only problem was we didn't reserve the room for long enough. This time we made sure the bar owner is one of us!! MUAHAHAHHAHAAHAHA. No seriously, he is gonna give us some drink specials, more details to come.
