removing green star polyps

How can i get rid of this without removing the rock from the tank ? I have tried to peel it off but it wont come off. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this stuff ?

razor blade and be careful. i dont know if something you can use maybe kalk or get one of those burning lasers and bake em off

Tried the razor didn't work that well. It looks like I'm gonna have to break down and take the rock out but what a disaster that's going to be.

I use These medical tool, it has very thin fine, sharp prongs. Find an are that will peel offa d work from there rather than just a random area. Good luck if you want it completely off though. To control it I flip my rock into sand and away from light

That's why you have to always put them on a rock that's easily removable if it goes on rock. I love mine but they're on a searate rock for the main scaping of the tank, it ca never grow anywhere that I can't remove them easily

I've tried putting rocks over it but this crap just grows on the bottom of the rocks. I wouldn't even care but it's starting to touch my sps frags and bothering them.

A stiff toothbrush will get them off any rock.

I was thinking about a wire brush. In the past when I pulled some of it off it releases something from the polyps. Will my other corals be ok ?

sharkbite y not put a more explosive coral next the colony like a torch and a few day ur problem solve i have two colony and one grows like crazy and i put two coral next it to keep it from speading

Turn the pumps off, get a siphon going and scrape and siphon out whatever is free floating. I'm not sure how much you but that should take care of removing whatever they would release or most of it.
