I would like some structual first hand input on reefers out there that have closed loops and other type of recirculating devices on their tanks.

Here is my dilema. I am currently planning on moving and have a new tank size in mind but would like it to be as clean as possible. I also am getting tired of mp60's falling off of my tank due to large fish hitting it or a snail jamming it. I am verry familiar with closed loops; but would like to have some additional options as well. Anyone play with large wave boxes or any other method I may have overlooked that works well.

Thanks,

Thane

Kevin thanks for your input buddy. Are there any being used locally that I can see in use ?

the 1200 gallon at Manhattan Aquariums runs closed loop with a surge device, go talk to Olivere or one of those guys at MA and I am sure they would be more than happy to show you behind the scenes

Keep me Posted Thane..Hope all is well? How is that precious little girl of yours doing btw?

Come on buddy. If this was your tank what would you do ?? Give it to me straight....:) No restraints......

if this were my tank and i can afford it, i would hire a full time fish guy to watch my tank 24/7 and prevent the mp60's from decoupling.....:approve:

check out this tank from thailand.....i think you probably have seen it before.
posts # 7143 his fish guy and 7082 latest video :bigeyes2:

he uses tunze ph's and wave boxes. very friendly guy and has way to much time on his hand. he actually replied/answered every post on rc!!!
i chat with him on the siamreefclub. plan to visit next time i'm in thailand.
anyway he employs a full time 24/7 "fish guy". i'll contact him if you're interested in getting your own "fish guy".....lol.
