So i got a couple questions for fish experts.

How do stores like wholesalers treat for ich.
(Constantly selling and new arrivals how do u keep them healthy)

What are some preventives you can do on fish only systems to kick ich without harming the fish.

They keep the salinity low 1.010 so if they have ich it will die off ... Or mostly all qt them before they sell them ... Or some just keep them in regular salt and hope for the best ...

Most utilize large banks of UV, very low salinity like 1.010 as mentioned, and a therapeutic level of copper. Sometimes other meds are used for new stock like methylene blue, but those are the main 3 you'll see often. Most of the real wholesalers don't QT fish, it isn't feasible when you consider the cost of running auxiliary systems on that scale. Picking healthy fish and finding the trustworthy wholesalers is another thing all together.

Many lfs just acclimate and sell they just want to move livestock its my opinion that's why the mortality rate is so high when i purchase i try to find out how long the specimen has been at the lfs i figure if its been alive in their tank for a few weeks and is eating its more likely to adjust to your tank. IN MY TANK I TREAT ICK WITH GOOD WATER QUALITY AND IREGULARLY USE SELCON YOU CANT TRUST THE LFS TO TREAT FOR ICH

Most LFS have their tanks under constant low levels of copper.

Its my understanding that copper needs to be kept at a certain level to be effective and i think many fish dont remain in their systems long enough for it to work just my 2 cents im no expert
