I have 2 Ecotech Radions over my 4x2x2 120 gallon mixed reef tank. They sit about 14" above the water. I never seem to get the settings just right. I've bleached a couple of corals, I'd like to know what some you folks have for settings on your tanks.

Thank you.

Jesse, yesterday was the swap and most of MR was focused on the event. FWIW, I just hung Radions over my reef and prefer the "12k" setting which is all channels on full intensity. My lights ramp up from blue and low intensity over the course of about an hour until they reach full intensity 12K. Then they stay there for about 6 hrs and then begin to ramp down again. I started the tank on max 50% intensity with the same curve and then increased max intensity every few days until I reached fixture maximum.

Mind you, I have only had these about 3 weeks. They sit about 14" off the water surface and so far, my corals seem to be responding to them fine.

Attached is my configuration.

I run 5-7k for the morning for a nice "growth soak" and then 14k for most of the day. For some reason my favorite viewing time is around 9-10PM but really each hour highlights different corals.

Near the end of the night it will go straight up BLUE and then MORE BLUE so you can enjoy your rave-corals.

Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.

How many hours total are your lights on, and how high are they from the top of the tank?
Thanks.

Thanks Randy. I have to try your settings. How high are your lights from the actual highest corals in your tank?
