ANNDDDD finally the plumbing is done. Its been sealed and have tested for 2 days with NO LEAKS:thrash::thrash::thrash:
This build has def gone through a snails pace but im okay with that because i've made this build my own
Thanks GOOGLE!:google:

Today i will finally drain out the test water and fill back in the saltwater, rock and sand. make sure its up to spec and then order my CUC on Friday from Reefcleaners.

I still get the loud sound from the pipes though as they hit the 45degree turn... anyone have any ideas about this? i'll probably get used to it, but it will drive me insane if i dont. Here is a picture to help for anyone with some insight

Tank has been turned back around, drained of test water, filled back up with salt water. Will begin testing tonight for Ammonia, Nitrates and Nitrites. Plan to have my light schedule up and running soon. Will be getting the Evergrow D120 next month. LOTS to do....

CUC will be ordered this Friday
YWG and Pistol will be purchased a week after that...

LET THE FUN TIMES ROLL!!!

Are you transferring from another tank...your tank wont be cycled in the timeframe you are specifying...

I moved it over rock and all with the same water, temp and jets running. Also i ghost fed so if they experienced some form of die off from the few minutes thry were out of water during the transfer back, it would be minimal. even so, i still have a half of a shrimp in the sump just hanging out in the net so it shouldn't be to much of an issue.

ANNNNDDDD CUC is on its way! Just put in my order to reefcleaners.com for:

the 15g cleaner package which brings 15 Dwarf Ceriths, 5 Nassarius, 9 Florida Ceriths and 7 Nerites. i thought that the 29g quick crew was just way to much snail for my tank right now. More can always be purchased at a later date. I also purchased shells for the 2 hermits i plan to keep (Blue legged and another). Lastly, i purchased the 1 penny micro algae they sell, i mean, whats the harm?

as with every single part of this annoying build, i have encountered yet ANOTHER road block. Looks like my 10g sump has spring itself a flipping leak. i'll be spending this weekend patiently attempting to locate the damn thing. I noticed it when while i was doing some water testing my water levels had dropped significantly and that the particle board that sits under it was all wet. i shut her down and this morning it was all dry. arggggggg

Anyone know of someone who has a 10g 3 chamber sump for cheap? I did a price quote with CustomKing but as of right now, thats to much money for me even though i know the quality would be amazing. or anyone have a blueprint i can follow?

this blows!

SOOOOO here is where im at now. Snails have been in my tank since Thursday evening. Is it normal to get alot of empty shells from reefcleaners? also, i just checked my levels.
Temp: 77.6
Salt: 1.0245
PH: 7.4 (why the hell is it so low?!)
Ammonia: .25 (normal for API)
nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5ppm

the PH is starting to worry me. im going to raise the return in the tank to increase oxygen. and im doing a water change tomorrow... any other reasons as to why its so low?

LOL thanks sir. i read up and its apparently very normal for PH to drop at night then flux back up to normal parameters during the day. Im back to the 8.2 range

on a side note... my snails didnt make it.. probably some of RB fault, but probably alot of mine. Anyways, the Dwarf Ceriths but only 2 Florida Ceriths made it, 1 or 2 Nassarius and no Nerites made it. I'm going to see if i can get another order from Rb but if not, do any of you know where i can get some of these locally?

Do you have a light on your fuge? if you do I think reversing the time its on, help prevent PH swings. its off while your display tank light is on and vice versa.
