Last night when the moon lights were on i saw the pepermint shrimp my girl added about a few weeks back, i saw him on thetree rack where the sps were he was picking at the sps, i Dont no what he was doing up there but he made the sps like slime up so im not sure if he was eatting it or what. or if they even do eat coral. Please help THanks.

dont no. my girlfriend said they dont eat sps, maybe cause i woke her up at 1am telling her whats wrong. i have a viddeo too. it looked like it was eatting it. i think im going to take it out later on when she comes home. cause i cant have it eatting everything in grannys tank. :/ no bueno.

i bought it at max reef i did not ask where they came from. i should have i guess.

pep def mucnh on corals i had some shread my fragspawn and hammer colony in the past so its a know fast they eat corals u do get good one that dont bother corals thoi but some def do eat corals keep a eye on them

I watched my peppermint pull the polyp right out of a pagoda coral. No doubt about what it was doing. I haven't had one since. May have been a bad seed though.

I had 2 peppermint shrimp to rid my tank of aiptasia (which they did)then they ate my large colony of my setosa then my raspberry and pink ricordea yuma(very rare and hard to find)and the last straw was my red planet...They are optimistic eaters,with the lack of food(cause my fish never let a grain of food hit the sandbed)they will scavenge whatever could be edible.get rid of it!

Mine are always on my frag racks..espicially new frags they clean it i think...i Ve been watching them so far No d amage...they go there at night...i also make sure they eat i have six shrimps in my tank and never see them eat zoa...coral banded. fire shrimp peppermint shrimp......all frags are growing Thi k ok...if I were you and saw damage they would be in sump asap...
