Selling here - more and more issues

I'm with Arnold. I don't want not even one bad rating! I try my best to sell and buy things fairly and honestly. It drives me crazy sometimes dealing with certain people but I understand not everyone is considerate. That's why from now on I post first come first serve and other rules. I post these rules to help me filter out some of the flakers on here

keep a black list and share it with responsible reefers. if you see a flake post on responsible reefers fs thread then give the seller a heads up pm.

Yeah I have done that too , maybe I'm responsible for buyers disappearing but I knew that the sellers had been known for scamming !!

A blacklist is a good idea. I think mine will have at least 5-7 names.

My redlist ( as I call it ) has 11 people on it........and they have since been removed from my friends list.............it's a shame not everyone is good to work with.

I won't leave a bad reefer rating. I had at least 20 different people I would have loved to give one to but they would all be scattered and if all 20 I gave a bad reefer rating to did it back to me I would look like a bad seller/buyer having 20 bad ratings from 20 people.

HAHAHHA! So true, i think my rating would be a F in that case. I just put them on my phone and label them nicely...."sh*t list"..... :biglaugh:

Well. I left 1 bad rating (so far) and I didn't get a bad rating in response. So my advice is, there is nothing to be afraid of.

I was talking to a very good friend of mine and we think "bad reefer ratings" SHOULD be "pending moderation". No instantly put in ur ratings. That way people that are actually at fault can NOT simply leave u 1 because u did it first
I think is a very fair way to do it.

Why an idea simple as this 1 cant be consider?? I dont know if is been already consider but no MOD have post after this comments. We would like to know how can we make this site more fair then what it is.
I think this is a very good idea. Isn't it ???

some people doesn't even know how to use the feedback rating system especially if they use the forum from a smartphone.

the only way I may leave a negative rating is if I get scammed or something like that
there is no need to leave a negative feedback for someone who just changed his mind or doesn't have the money to buy the item

if I PM you , ask you for your # and address consider the item sold
but I know not everyone is a man of his word

Shut off your pm's while selling and let them respond, lowball, and flake on your thread. Then everyone can see what's going on.

The Reefer Rating system is between members, and isn't something that moderators are going to approve or not approve. The system is in place and members should use it, and no one should be afraid to give members a negative rating, especially if the person that they're dealing with warrants one. As for removing a negative rating, the only time we'll remove a negative rating is if shouldn't have been given in the first place or both members agree to remove it, otherwise it will stand. Also, we're not here to solve arguments between members, as they need to worked that out between themselves, better yet everyone should use the Reef Rating system before dealing with someone. The system mayn't be the best but it's there and if it's to work people do need to leave not only positive feedback but negative too, especially if it's warranted.

Thanks Marrone for clarifying this. Rating is never a perfect system and never will. I opened this discussion just to encourage people to use it so thank you for doing this also as a Mod. I think that keeping a blacklist is a great way also to avoid dealing with people who were not up to the standards in the past.

Marrone u as a MOD will deleted any bad rating any1 will give u and no1 will notice. (Not saying u did just saying u can) so how would u or any other mod will know "if that shouldnt have happen in the first place"???
Isnt that reviewing it??
Also what would u do if i leave u 1 bad rating just because u gave me 1 before?? If u CANT deleted on ur own??? Wouldnt u like the other mods to take a second look??
