Interesting Ivan, I'm starting to get cyano after 5 weeks of use with the Gyre.
it was at first when i was setting it up but then i adjusted it to not pick up any sandIs it moving the sand?
Ivan,, are you suggesting that the gyre should be dipped before you (everybody) places one in their tank? Because if your not the gyre is apparently speeding up the effects of something that was going to happen in your tank regardless.
Unrelated. My controller fell and doesn't work anymore.Anyone sell these?Just the controller itself?
That's a lot man.
nop thats bnot what i am saying, what i am trying to say is that the gyre is pretty powerful and its bringing up crap from the sand causing the diatom. And how is it that it was going to happened regardless in my tank. the tank is almost 3 years old?
This thread is named "Maxpect Gyre causing diatoms but obviously it should be called "my sand bed isn't clean" or "I don't have a decent CUC" I apologize in advance that sounds rude, its not meant to be,, Im a terrible texter and this is proof.
