hey bill are you up to going to the south shore although they rarely had dolphins in the sound and 2 weeks ago they spotted a pod of a lot of dolphins as far down the as city island so you never know what one can find.
This is actually a good point.. I was looking at it earlier. We definitely need to correlate with the tide.

Double check your tide tables, Oak Beach low tide for Sunday is 5:44A or 6:06P and Smith Point bridge is 5:20A and 5:42P.

if the tide turns out to be rising till 13:51 on 9/5/15 let me know when you guys get back. I believe that's high tide. This is for point look out, pretty close to Oak Beach, one of the listed tide tables is wrong, but I don't know why. I use this one for diving and seining.
