Since ive been very busy with a new job, i havent quite kept up with my tank maintance. Been having a color loss in my sps, moving towards light brown.
partly maintance and partly the redbugs i found , i know is the cause of the problem.
I think im building up phosphates(no test kit, i always assume my system has them), having some diatoms bloom but nothing bad at all no algae. i also have a fuge w cheato and some other macro. i usually always run in my overflow box a bag of mixed seachem carbon and po4 remover. but that also hasnt been changed as often (week ) as i would want and is likely a cause.
i think i need to get a phosban reactor or similar, what are the best reactors on best media.?
any other good methods to slowly lower po4 besides a huge water change..i just need to keep them in check
