yeah but the pores get filled up pretty quick, and it's not deep/big enough to offer much in way of nitrate or phosphate removal so? Get a marinpure block,and toss the used carbon in the garden.
gfo in the garden? IDK. A lil bit here and there would think is good. Long term in a small space probably not. With carbon it's noticeable the added growth and green where you put it.is it bad that i never thought of putting it in the garden. makes total sense now that i think of it. Do you guys put GFO in gardens too.... that also seems like it would be a great source of minerals for plants.
Garden? I might try that, I have been using my skim mate to keep the animals away and it's been working
Def a great fertilizer but yeah, lol, that could keep your friends away too, unless you cover it with some soil
