The answer is the Athorities that do not check and let the bad shipments of druged fish come through US Customs.

People need to beat there doors, EVERYDAY!!, barage the higherups and skip the smaller wholesalers/LFS/trades people.

Look in the Trades for inport and export and you can get a list of the incoming and outgoing products.

Contact those names and the locations where they are conducting business. Get lists of the Local athorities and speek of the problem as if it just showed up at your LFS. :evil:

Keep the heat on and I bet you in a couple of yrs, the Squeeke wheel will get a whole lot of greese. :wink:

Proper agent of the Law to do there job and 100,000 people, trades, wholesalers, retailers and all of us will for ever stop getting this shoved down our tanks. :wink:

Our shipments do get inspected. However, there is no test for cyanide that is viable to be used in the United States. With no proof that the fish were caught with cyanide, shipments can't be confiscated.

So you're going to get the names of companies and barrage local authorities about their animals even though you haven't seen them/dealt with them/etc...??? That makes NO sense. Without proof you don't have a case.

Maybe you want to contact the authorities in the country of origin. They already know there is a problem and are either too understaffed or are getting kickbacks to not to anything about it.

I repeat. The ONLY answer is for a test to be developed that can be used in the United States and for Fish & Wildlife to be able to charge people under the Lacey Act for importing drugged fish. That will take care of the drugs- then we'll have to address handling issues (a whole new fish to fry!!)
