Most TDS meter in this hobby is for low range (for RO water), and it won't work. See if you can get a meter that work on the range of sea water, around 35000 ppm or 35 ppt.
don't throw those out just yet .. i think i see a use.. it looks as if your DSB is the exact height of your hydrometer.. so you can still use it to make sure your dsb is even all across the tank, or perhaps use it to compare your DSB to the ones at your LFS ...
