I can't believe it.
I bought two anthias from them yesterday and one of them is already dead. My tank is nearly all SPS, with three other fish that are doing fine. The one other anthia is fine as well.
I called them up and asked if I could get a refund. They said "No refunds, livestock is non-refundable". What the hell is up with this? I could get the same fish SHIPPED from CA, FL, wherever and I would get an arrive-alive guarantee. This normally means the fish is guaranteed to stay alive for 5 days or something.
Honestly, what the **** is up with this store? I have spent thousands of dollars there and this is the first time I have ever asked for a replacement or a refund. I live in Manhattan (no long commute), I acclimate very slowly, if a fish dies they should replace it!
Also, Suresha (sp?) had the nerve to ask me if I checked my water conditions! Give me a ******* break. Why don't you check the water conditions of your tank of dead LPS? The health of most of the coral in there is atrocious!
From now on, the only thing I will ever buy there again is brine shrimp. I don't care if it costs more somewhere else (how could it?) or if I have to drive out to LI, NJ, CT, wherever.
I get more appreciation from mail order places that have no idea who I am!
