So, yesterday I was working on the 180 frag tank and I noticed that all the snails were perched up on the highest points of the corals and rock "reared up" on the back most part of their foot. I had never seen snails do this before and they were all facing into the flow. They are an orange atlantic species. I've never gotten a positive ID on them and I only saw them become available about a year ago. Thinking I was facing a snail revolt due to some injustice they felt I had inflicted upon them I was intrigued lol. All at once, they started spawning in the tank, including some zebra turbos who didn't rear up but did perch up high along with the oranges. I forget how long it went on for but it had to have been an hour at minimum. The tank was clouded and the corals were loving life. Wish I had been there at the beginning to take some pics before it got clouded up :grumpy:. It was disturbing and cool at the same time.
