Nick there was someone local who did this, I can't remember who though.

Bob its not a matter of just running vinegar through it. Thas the easy part. its checking for freon leaks checking that its full that its running its best to save electric. I can run vinegar through it but not the other stuff. Ill look into the link today and report back about it

I spoke to Kieth form Kooltanks very nice guy I must say. And I then talked to Eric from RC. They both said the same thing that 99% of chiller faliures that people throw out there chillers for are simply fixes. Well im gonna drop it off to Keith in a few weeks when I brake down my tank and let him check it out and spic n span it for me. Throw him a email or a call. I told him im form Manhattan reefs and said most likely you will hear from others. Tim thanks for the link I mentioned you also.

I have to agree that Keith is a really nice fellow, even over the phone he gave me some great tips and took a number of phone calls when I was having issues with my chiller early last year! Great advice!

Do let us know what he says about your chiller Nick, it would be great info to have to maintain them properly :)
