How are we going to prevent getting pests into our tank from this upcoming frags swap? Any suggestions?

I'm setting up a pest removal station at the swap. I will check frags and treat them accordingly. Kris will be helping me. At least I will try and minimize the spread of pests.regal said:How are we going to prevent getting pests into our tank from this upcoming frags swap? Any suggestions?

I plan on a interceptor bath, and a Flatworm bath.
The grab bags will be clean from pests since they are coming from a very reputable company that treats its corals before shipping out to aquarists.regal said:How are we going to prevent getting pests into our tank from this upcoming frags swap? Any suggestions?
I could do both in one bath, but it makes no sense to treat zoanthids for red bugs.ctxmonitor said:could you do both in one bath or its better to spilt it apart?

I will probably triage each individual frag to its appropiate treatment.

people need to step up and admit if they know they have some kind of pest in thier tanks. and those buying should be aware they should treat the corals for the appropiate pests.
