seems to be working nicely, getting about 125mL per day so far.

keep in mind also that my sump has a relatively slow flow (if that makes a dif)

The skimmer is mounted on the back wall of your sump, right? Does this cause any vibration to reverberate through your sump, or is it quiet in this respect too?

How much of a pia is it to mount it, considering those whacky deltec lego blocks? Did you opt for the magnets? How easy/difficult is it to remove the collection cup & clean out? Potentials for wear & tear on this over time?

Looking forward to more pics?

i actually have it just sitting on the floor of my sump, there is no need to mount it as it can be up to 11" deep in water. Also it does not make any vibration noises either. Also, this is not Deltec, it is Tunze. Their mounting brackets (i remember from my stream) are quite complicated, the magnet is usually the best way to go. taking the cup out it as simple as possibe, ust lift it out, nothing more than that (and the cover of the cup can be used as a tray for the cup to prevent any dripping of skimmate on the floor on your way to the sink).
i dont see much wear and tear potential (although tunze feels that the use of ozone may wear things out faster)

ok, i got my first 500mL after 4 days of operation.
I decided to clean it out so that it may run as efficiently as possible. It was easy/simple to clean (no tough corners or anything like that) and the supplied cleaning brush proved helpful.

oh, just one question.. Does it say that you need a certain level of water in your tank? what i mean is does it say that you must submerge the skimmer to what level on the skimmer box?

Was wondering because what you have only have a 6-7 inch of water level in the sump, would that make it less effective?
