Corals bleached!

ok i bleached my corals by adding to much mag at once. Here is the thing how can i get the corals to come back to life? does colaration from brightwells would work? also installed some leds to my tank and wondering if i should of acclimated the lights, but any how is there anyway to get my corals to come back to color? thanks

Depends on what you mean by "bleached". If you post a photo it will really help a lot.

In all likelihood the corals are dead and cannot be brought back to life.

its not dead at all jus the color is pale, for instance i have a favia that does great it extends awesme but its color just got dull, there is no die off at all just the color got really pale.

in time, along with no more over dosing, your coral will color back up

What are your magnesium and alkalinity levels now?

couldnt you just do a good size water change to bring the mag levels down?

With good conditions most corals are able to recover to pre-bleaching condition within one to several months, depending on the species and the severity of the bleaching. To second Josh above, what is the water chemistry like now?

ok ill get some pics up everyone. my cal is at 500 my mag at 1350, alk 9.6 the problem was i dosed so much mag in one day i think to get my mag up that it bit me in the butt, i will def post pics today thanks to everyone who has put there info in.

The mag and Calc are high, but not that bad. Are you sure it was the magnesium that caused the change? Some bump their mag up to 1400+ for a short period of time to deal with bryopsis and don't have any problems - worked for me with no visible stress on the corals.
