So i would need 45/64 drill bit size instead of 22/32? (I'm not really familar with these stuff)

Sam. before you drill and tap, try your fitting in a 1/2"x13 NUT. If it fits, you're good, if not, you need the 1/2"x14. The hardware store will have one.

Gerry I think i know what you talking about but i don't have those, so i can't try. I'm using the thread pvc 1/2" X 1/2....you think these are 1/2" X 13 NPT?

I went to the hardware store, they had the 22/32 drill bit only and it cost $21.50. Are they normally that expensive? Thanks

If it's not too much trouble for you to borrow the drill bit, please do, but if that'll give you too much trouble, then it's okay. Thanks Frank.

If you ending up with the drill bit, i'll just bring the whole calcium reactor to you and drill it at your if it's better. Or i can borrow it and bring it back to you....whichever is better for you.

your taping pvc so 22/32 is fine, im off tommorrow so tue ill see if the engineers has the bit they should
