Mine is The Zoo in Peekskill NY. They are nice and knowledgable and don't rip you off. The owner will actually tell you not to buy something if he thinks you're not ready for it.

Chris and Bill have done wonders in last month!
SPS section is up and running and he's been getting some really nice stuff.
they now have a really nice dry goods selection.
it's the only store in the tri sate area devoted only to Saltwater.
I do enjoy exploring other shops in the area

i agree with nypdfrogman there the only lfs i go to. they really have done a great job with the store and there service is best.

Actually JAWZ II in Elmsford is strictly SW too. I'm just not crazy about Louie the owner. He has no pricing on anything and he'll sell you anything you want. And he'll sell it with a hard sell too.
He does carry some very very nice fish though. His top row of tanks aren't even for sale. He uses them as his QT tanks. Every fish he gets in goes in QT before he'll sell them. That's about his only positive.

I've always like Louie, and not because he rides a motorcycle, and have alway found him a very fair person and some one that you can make deals with. He can also get you any fish that you want, and usually very quickly, and quailty wise his fish are very good. I haven't been to his new place but use to go to his old place quite abit.

If we do decide on a 'Louie' trip, we should let him know. He's always been very accomodating. He'll get fish in if we request, or he'll order extra if he knows a group of us are coming. He'll also be nice with his 'offers'.
Dean, I have to agree with you, his corals have dropped off substantially. I got quite a few from him a year to a year and a half ago. Recently though, there is nothing there that tickles my fancy at all.

the best i can tell is the people i dealt with in man. reefs deepwater and others so i really stopped buying anything in lfs and i buy from big als online for my equiptment and dry stuff
