You shouldn't get this fish because.....
I personally think an expected life span of the fish you plan to keep is generally two to three years. If your tank can handle that fish for that long without causing issues then your fine. WTH do people keep generalizing that you shouldn't have a tang for a fish that is currently 1" and adult size of about 12" but won't get there until 2+ years later. reason I'm saying this is I know someone who purchased a blue hippo and had him at a very small size 1/2" in a 33 long. 4-5 years down the road it was at around 10" guess what....he upgraded during that time!!!
you know just like everyone else. there is a HIGH probability you will upgrade your tank, sell the fish, it die of other reasons than size of tank.
If you want to go on about size of tanks, you don't go to the extremes like the above without having a plan. If I don't plan on upgrading due to promising the wife (no upgrades for 4 years). So plan accordingly, I know if I decided to buy a blue hippo as of now. I would NOT keep it passed a certain size and I've seen many for sale threads showing it is not just me that understands when you need to sale that fish to someone who has a larger tank.
