I met a fellow at the last swap who has been "zapped" by his zoas when fragging a few times through cuts in his fingers (he is a mechanic), and he described his symptoms like this - that night, a few hours after he was fragging zoanthids with cut-up hands and no gloves on, he went to bed, and he woke up feeling like an elephant was sitting on his chest. The second time it happened, it felt much more intense.
The thing about exposure like this is that it can be really bad the first time out, or it can be not so bad the first time, but then much much worse the second time. All the advice you got has been great - gloves, safety glasses, and keep your mouth closed. But if it's a day later and you feel okay, I think you're fine. Next time could be really bad though. Be careful!
