How long can NSW be left in container?

I did a water change last sunday. 8 daya later i still have about 10 gls of NSW that has been circulating the whole time (in a clean bucket).
Can I still use this water for water change or should I toss it?

Water was made with 0 TDS and ESV salt.

NSW= Natural Seawater

As long as it's circulating it should be fine but if you're nervous or worried something might be off just test it to make sure.

+1. as long as the bucket was clean, use the water.


I usually make about 30 gallons at a time, but I only know where the 25 gallon make is on the tank. I empty then add the 25 gallons, then I let it run and add the other 5 gallons and empty the 5 gallons into a container. leaving me with no water left over.

Ohhhhh, i ment it as New Salt Water....im a fool....back to issue at hand.

It does have a very slight "BO" odor to it....guess ill toss it, better safe tham sorry.

It's fine, as long as you have it circulating it is ok. Just check the salinity in case there was some evaporation.
