So, I went over to check up on this tank today with my buddy who installed it. I know Jonathan wanted to shoot it as a possible article for an upcoming MR magazine so I am only posting a few pics. THERE IS NO FTS since it requires clearance in advance (high security building) and I'm sure if Jonathan does it he would take better ones anyway. Don't have any livestock photos since top downs are all blurry but I can give a brief list of the good stuff.
Tank: 20,000g display FO .... no WLR
This is the catwalk above the tank and the only way to access the tank directly. Used for feedings and has a dive entrance for maintenance on the tank. It's loud up there.
2 canister filters running off a single "smart" pump. Both are backwashed into drains for water changes that take about 15 minutes start to finish. The Water change vat is plumbed inline and all it takes is a few turns of a few handles to complete.
The smartest pump I have ever met. 15hp pump with an onboard computer senses when the filters have been cleaned and lowers it's output to reduce electricity and wear. As the canisters clog the pump ramps up it's output to keep the flow constant. It's deafening in here.

160w of ultraviolet goodness in line after the 2 biological filters. The second bio filter is the plastic pyramid and it is stationary. The first bio chamber is a tumbling chamber for media.
The skimmer, because I know people wanted to know what was hooked to this beast. It's a custom job they came up with on their own, very effective.
That is it for now. There is still a computer controller that would make the pentagon jealous, the main sump, the refugium, chiller, and a bunch of other stuff I will leave for now until further notice. Any questions feel free to ask.
