Lmao...how many of you actually test the water after being mixed ? i mean do you have a temp calibrated refractometer ? do you test the cal, alk and mag ? this was the reason i stopped using it, and i do believe Bob reccomends using a scale as it is more accurate, even though a few ml's dont seem like it would make much of a differance, it really can, especially over a period of time

I test it after sodium, and it usually reads a slightly lower. Then after all the parts, including the liquids, salinity reads perfect. I'm using a Milwaukee MA887 Seawater Digital Refractometer. Calibrated with RO each time before use, cause it's just that easy with it!
