what len forgot to tell you is that he is now keeping freshwater. he has a nice shipwreck in one corner and a multi colored castle in the other. he has 10 black tetra 2 plecos and 5 mollys . he is proud of his tank if you can find him on another message board

i added mine within the first week you can add corals anytime really. but you just wanna make sure you KNOW what your doing ( thats what most of those recomendations mean,.. not 1 year of the tank being up but 1 year in the hobby or what ever)

"Yes it is true. Bulbs lose their color spectrum and you can't really see that with the naked eye. Some bulbs last longer than others. One year for metal halides is a good rule of thumb. Less for fluorescent. " wasnt sure if you ment less often for florecants or less time between replacing but...

ill let ya know about that. there like brand new only time i ever used them was to mix water . so im not sure if the price i would sell them for would really be worth it

looks like the corals at the boca inlet jetty not worth collecting since they need such high light initialy and also you get banged up bad if the waters rough lol ( i never personaly collected them, i was just there while some other people were)
