I have seen my clarki bite the tips off my xenia. Then they spit it out. Not alot like it sounds is happening to yours.

Yep a loguls fw dip is good. Gets rid of flatworms and other stuff you don't want in your tank.

You can try putting them in front of a good powerhead. They don't usually like the current and will let go. you can use a rubberband to stick them where you want.

And I complain when it hits 100 here. That's hot!

Peppermints are good to have. That way they keep an eye out for them pest for you!

Thats an awesome nano. They took everything we complain about our nano's and fixed it. Much better lighting, filtration, and cooling!

Yep I keep the temp in house about 75 and tank runs between 78-80 with just a fan blowing over it.

I think something is going on with open brains right now. Mine and a few others that I have talked to have all died. For a coral that is normally very hardy they seem to be dieing alot. Glad the others are doing better.

I think it is just to close to the lights. Mine are on the sandbed and in good current. They only close up at night. As far as I know they don't sting. Then again I also have a hammer, torch, and haitian anemone and have never been stung by them either. Once happy they do grow like crazy...

Keep in mind ph swings depending on when you test. It will be low when lights first come on and gradually increase as the day goes on. I didn't know this and was running test first thing in the morning so I was freaking out about the ph being low. Then I was told to test later after lights...

My maroon did the same thing. I moved it to a fowler. I think the 40 would be fine as long as the lighting is good. Is it already running? Anemone's don't seem to like new tanks.
