I just plumbed my sump to an external pump. Is the casing usually pretty warm to the touch? It's running fine, but I just wanted to make sure this is normal.
Thanks,

If you're looking to get started right away, I'd go for it. However, I recently acquired an oceanic 75g reef ready, Oceanic sump, stand and 110w power compact for $375. The skimmer is the only thing I didn't get. I got it through the paper. If you have time, you may be able to scout out a...
I'm sorry, but are you new to the internet? Use a search engine and see how many people have been flamed for asking the same question. If you're looking for the one voice in twenty who'll tell you it works, go ahead and buy the tang. Just get ready to bury, or flush, the tang.

Hi all,
Has anyone kept these angels in a reef aquarium? I like the black and white appearance, but I wouldn't want to get a fish that has a poor captive track record.
Thanks for any help,

I have plus series 40 gallon trickle filter along with my reef ready 75g tank. Wondered if anyone had a good suggestion on how go to a reef set up.
Thanks,

Hi all,
I'm going to be getting a 75 gallon reef ready with Oceanic W/D filter. Is the casing glass? Can anyone recommend a conversion they've used to accomodate a protein skimmer?
All help is appreciated,
Whitey
I haven't seen one in person, but I can get a 75 reef ready oceanic with 40 gallon sump. Are the sumps glass? How hard are they to convert to bare sump with protein skimmer?
Thanks for your time.

Let the bulletin board know where this is at. Some locals may be able to help with the southdown, a cup of live sand, or some algae. They may also know the good LFS to pick up the necessary starters.
Best of luck.

I have an opportunity to get a 75g reef ready Oceanic, hood, stand, 40 gallon sump (wet/dry setup), return pump, and minimal PC lighting for $375. Sound like a good deal? The top and stand are wood.
Thanks for your input,
