i had an English Bulldog that was rescued. She was the best dog, but could have been more costly than the reefing hobby. I spent a small fortune on her at the vet.... I dont know if you have any children but she was GREAT with my son when he was born.

I had a husky and have extreme high energy love the cold and like Barry said hate the cold. Mines was great with kids especially mines but with the shedding and wife always in my ear I had to give him away. A lab is a great dog imo I had a choclate lab before also and an absolute lovely dog to have around I plan on gettin another dog in the future and I'm leaning towards a bully pit they look awesome if not that a cane corso I know jarrettshark on here was a breeder and I had spoken with him via pm's and he stated unless your willin to spend big bucks on a good bloodline you will have plenty of health issue just something to think about gl

Hector my girlfirend works with a rescue through the Maywood vet. Mostly rescue pits and mixes, we found 2 great dogs from philly that way, now her and her sister (head vet) are heavily involved. If youre interested text or call me and I can see whats available for adoption.

I asked because all the dogs you asked about are pretty tough breeds. For a first dog you may want to go for something a little easier to get some experience with them. Shar-peis, Akitas and Husky are all dogs that need tough experienced owners.

u should get a pit bull trust me i have 4 pitbulls and 1 bull terrier and they love my kids ...it really is how u train and raise them

My brother has a American staf terrier and he is one of the best dogs I've been around.

So +20 on pits being who raises it.

O just adopted an 8 week old black lab mix and so far he is being an angel.
