How are you doing with the storm? What's is it like currently where you are?

Power is out. Just started my cheapo generator. The power output is unregulated but run almost every just fine. Even the Quietone 15000 that I thought it was dead. It won't start the Quietone 6000 thou. Weird.

Here in farrockaway its fine alittle windy no flooding were im at and power still hanging on here . I know alot of you are saying way are you still there , well thay only evac from beach 40 to the 100 only beach front in rockaway not were i live.

Lost power since 2am . Running tank on vortechs. So far so good. Hope you guys all OK and hang in there till we all get power back.

We lost power here at around 4am for less than a minute but for some reason we're one of only 2 apartments in the complex that have power, which some of my neighbors already stopped by to express their "frustration" over. Wind is still pretty intense in bursts, just hope the power stays on.

power went out at 930 am.got the generator up and running.wind has calmed down alot.my wife is pissed off because i evacuated her on friday night to western PA.i didnt wnt to risk her or my kids getting hurt.she sounds real mad at me over the phone.hurricane malissa is making landfall at 1 pm tomorrow LOL

In Selden, NY (LIE exit 62). We have electricity, internet, cable. No flood.
Our friends In Centereach few blacks away from us do not have electricity and water.
The tree went down 10 feet away from our house. We got lucky.
