It's cool to have them mating. I guess i won't have to feed live foods for a while.

15 minutes if youre lucky. They are impossible to raise in our reef tanks. The larval stage of the cleaner shrimp lasts for 100 days. thats super long.

Good snack for the fish tho :eat:

peppermints are captively raised now. Almost anyone can do it they are fairly easy. Most shrimp will "mate" in our tanks if in a group. They are actually hermaphroditic and just take turns holding each others eggs (which doesn't make it any less cool). If you watch the eggs long enough u can see the little shrimp starting to develop, should be able to see their little embryonic crustacean multiple eyes soon lol (look like little black dots among the eggs). If anyone can get pics of them at that stage I have full faith in Pedro.
