WTB bleached coral

anyone have or know where i can get some bleached sps? something like a birds nest or some stags. around 4 inches would be cool. i'm getting seahorses, and i want them to have a nice place to anchor.

you can pretty much by them in any petshop....like petland or soemthing, but not sure on the price or coral species

i haven't looked to hard, but the stores around my house don't have them. i did a quick check of fish town and didn't see any there either.

het mantis i have a large piece of dead coral i bought from petland...it cost me like 60 bucks...lol when i didnt know better....ill sell it for 30....

its pretty big like 8 inches? its pretty cool looking...im actually right by your way...im using it as rock in my sump lol kinda waste...im in forest hills where are you

any Petco should have them.
The real hobbiest shops often do not.

i use to have seahorse tank. i have some big stags...u can use tme in ur new tank...lmn,if u need them

I've got one that just died (birdsnest) about the size of a softball. And I am heartbroken over it. Was a beautiful pink. Now it's as white as Casper the Ghost. :frown:

check out aquarium adventure, we have tons of dead stuff in our back room. The only problem is getting someone to care enough to look. Hope it helps.

You'll find that they also like to perch on featherdusters and seaweed, and it makes for a nice looking addition to a seahorse reef. Regarding dried corals, try an amazon search. They have a vendor that specializes in dead, bleached, dried, mounted corals. Oh, they also like to perch on sponges and snails, which is fun to watch. Outta curiosity, what kind are you getting (seahorse, I mean)?
