Thanks Mike. However to stock up with corals i probably need money :D.
And that's something that i do not have too much off. Anyway i will take it slow. For now introduced few fish. Want to make sure they all happy and healthy. I also need to finish my refugium. Want to put different rock add more copods (cause they all died in refugium when my pump was broken, i do however have a lot of copods in the tank, but i really want them to be in refugium too and feel like it would be easier to just add new batch then moving rocks around and let them multiply) and put cheato. So if you want to help, -> you said your friend have some excess of cheato. I'll take it from him or buy it if he is selling it.

Text me if something.

Updates

Since last post i have taken some rocks out of the tank. So bellow is final result of how i will keep my setup.

Also tried to eliminate noise from the overflow. So as suggested i built device mentioned in this article: http://home.everestkc.net/jrobertson57268/HGB/ it does work quite, however not quieter then what i had. It partially solved my noise problem with a sponge inside overflow. Device works good, so ill keep it and will not go back to original one.

I also bought few floats and switch controller from autotopoff.com. One float i placed inside my sump and one inside aquarium. The setup will turn off pump if water evaporates bellow set level (to prevent running the pump dry) and also shuts off pump if overflow is clogged and water level in the tank gets dangerously high.

Fish doing great, however i did not succeed taking good shots of them (still dont know how to utilize my camera to extract true collors from the tank.) I will research about it over this winter. However if anybody has good tips about reef photography please let me know. I always listen and learn. My camera is Nikon D5000 (however i am pretty sure that idea behind it is the same regardless of the camera) Soon will by more fish... And after that some soft corals...

Jack also helped me get Rose Bubble Tip anemone. My tank is not as boring anymore and i have to take care few more residents. Today i have a photogropher friend coming over to show me how to take good pictures of my tank. Then hopefully i can show my tank in full collors.

Updates - Sump

Today i installed Tunze ATO. Great system, well built, works flawless... overall quality product.

For now water pumps out of the bucket next to my tank, however work in progress on a slim custom made container. I will post work details later, probably by next Monday.

Also i i cut plexiglass to cover my sump. It prevents evaporation and splashes. Also i sometimes use it as a shelf for my test kits and other stuff.

As promised, fully opened Hammer Head corral is also posted bellow.

RODI water container for ATO

After i installed Tunze Automatic Top Off i needed to place decent size container near the tank where i could store my RODI water.
I was looking for something slim to put alongside the tank cabinet, but haven't found nothing. And as usual in these situations, i decided to make my own.

Idea is to cut 4 pieces of 4" pvc pipe. Seal the ends, stand them upright and connect them together.
To make flat caps i used coupler and 4" drain cap. Drain cap does not go on top of PVC because it is same diameter. That is why i needed coupler.
I used quick connect same diameter as we use in our RODI filters to connect cylinders to each-other. I drilled a hole a little bit smaller then the thread diameter, put Teflon tape on the thread and forced this assembly together with an angle wrench. Result is a no-leak connection, however i applied a bit of silicone anyway to be 100% sure.

Important to mention, something that you guys don't see:
Since i decided to add water to my sump, and containers are high, that means that water will continue to siphon down to my sump even when pump is off. Therefore i needed water to be pumped out of the lowest point from the container. I used the same quick connect, however i drilled it right through. This allows me to insert tube inside of it any length i need. So once i put tube right through this connection i will be able to connect my pump on the inside of the container.

Next post is of the whole assembly.

RODI water container for ATO

After connecting everything together i reinforced whole assembly with diagonal aluminum strips on both sides.

Bellow you also see picture where container in its drying stage and also semi dry flat finish. Later might wrap it in some kind of plastic to make it more appealing, or maybe put some fish stickers on it.

Near Future plans: Install visual flag that will be raised when water level is low.
Install a float that will turn off ATO to prevent pump from running dry.

Will post picture of its final rest place later as well as its volume.
