I havent updated this in a while because I was trying to decide what tank to use. I had a trade in the works for a 210 but I dont think my floors can handle the weight of a 210 with a 125 sump(about 2600 lbs!). I've decided to go with the 125. I like the 6' length and I dont care for the overflows in the 120. Im going to try and mod the 120 stand to fit the 125 and trade the 120 RR tank for some equipment I'm going to need. I have been researching C2C overflows with the Bean Animal drains. I like the fact that they are super quiet and have total suface skimming. I drilled the 125 last night and going to pick up some wood today to mod the stand. I drilled 3 perfect 2 3/8" holes(1 1/2" bulkheads), with NO chip out. Heres a couple of pics. sorry for the poor quality, it was last night in my garage with limited lighting and a cell phone

So happy to see that you are in the process of a new build! How exciting!!! I have really been away from MR a bit to much. I just came across your build..
I'm subscribing so I don't miss any of your progress!!
My very best wishes for a truly successful reef!!!!!!!

I will be setting up Wingo's Cree Brick LEDs on my 155 soon. Once I have them up, and running I will post before & after pix. If you like you could come by, and see them in person.
I have to wait on one of my son's to help me take down the old MH/PC fixture. That darn fixture is way to heavy for a single person to handle let alone me.:( I'll be so happy not to have to be waiting on help just to change out bulbs.;)
I chose Wingo's because the price could not be beat, but more importantly is the fact that Wingo has GREAT customer service, and I know that if there is ever a problem Wingo will fix it.;)

I finally got some work done on this setup. Its a real slow going process. I probably wont have this up and running till mid January.
So i added a board of 1/2" ply to the top of the stand to tie in the 6" extensions. I also got some birch and cut the panels for the skin of the extension. I got half of the plumbing done to. Heres a couple of pics

Thought you were done with the setup. Not a dig, as you know we all believe a slow build makes for an awesome build.;)

So what did you think of my LEDs now that you saw them in person?

I liked the Led units you have. I almost went led on my 20 but i found a deal on a t5 unit that o couldn't pass up.
I still need to paint the back of thus tank, stain the finish ply for the stand, finish the plumbing to the sump, build the glass overflow box and clean the tank. Then i can bring it in the house. I still need to get a return pump, powerheads, skimmer and a light for this setup. I dont see this tank getting stsrted till Febuary :(
